Principality of Liechtenstein
The Principality of Liechtenstein is a landlocked country in the Alpine region of Central Europe. The smallest state with German as official language has approximately 37.500 inhabitants. Liechtenstein is a constitutional, hereditary monarchy on a democratic and parliamentary basis. As head of the Princely House of Liechtenstein, Prince Regnant Hans-Adam II. is the actual head of state. The sovereignty in Liechtenstein is shared between prince and people in equal measure.
